CLPD is a solution developed in BASE LATAM addressing the Chilean government's current over-tracking of transactions.

The Solution

The solution was straightforward: convert the Chilean peso into a digital token. Leveraging the BASE network on the blockchain, this allows Chileans to use their local currency without concerns about government restrictions or privacy violations. It grants every entrepreneur and ordinary citizen the freedom to move their money digitally.

To achieve this, our Smart Contract development team created CLPD, a token consistently valued at one Chilean peso and infinitely exchangeable on our platform.

Features & Interface

We developed a streamlined platform that, while adhering to the hackathon deadline, draws inspiration from vintage UI systems. Users can easily deposit CLP to convert it into CLPD, withdraw their digital pesos to their bank accounts, invest in CLPD liquidity, and convert USDC into CLPD.
